HONOR ROLL of PLANTATION THINNING WIZARDS
Pine plantations are very profitable investments, but they would be routine without a special breed of timber buyer. He adds extra value to every pine plantation that he thins by using skill and care in removing the trees. He uses selective, never row, thinning and causes almost zero damage to the main crop trees. Only after he moves the junk out of the growing space can the plantation's super trees produce big returns.
We call these buyers "Plantation Thinning Wizards" and use this Honor Roll to pass along to other landowners the key facts about each. If you know of a "PTW," tell us. We'll arrange to inspect his work and list him if he passes the test. Below is how to reach those whose work we or our associates have inspected in the woods: 2.
